Why do I hate Nokia?

I was using a Nokia Mobile Phone, Nokia E 52. I’m Using 3G from BSNL and was a pretty heavy user. I configured my email’s, all my social profiles in E52. And suddenly things took a u-turn. here are the things that happened.

 

 
1. My Nokia E52 is not working now.
2. I got it repaired once, changed the internal board the other time, and still my device is not working.
3. Nokia Care in Alappuzha(Kerala) happened to be the worst place to get your mobile serviced., They don’t consider themselves as Nokia family, but just a franchisee(Nokia care Alappuzha will say that “we have send the device to Nokia”, then who are they?)
4. Manager of Nokia care Alappuzha works from 10AM to 1 PM. If you have a grievance that is addressed to her you have to come on the next day ( if it is after 1 PM.)
5. I gave my device back to Nokia care on 18th and I haven’t yet received an intimation on what is going to happen in my case. I have given more than 5 calls to nokia support team (080 30303838).(Got a Ticket number as well (# 1-11915286783))
6. Nokia care Alappuzha won’t intimate you when your device is ready(at-least not in my case, both the cases i called them and get to know that device is already back in nokia care).
7. Nokia care was not even ready to give me copies of my job sheets with them.(got hold of it after half an hour verbal dual with them)
8. Nokia support team promised me a call back twice, which was not materialised.
9. I was in Nokia care alleppey / Alappuzha from 2 Pm to 6Pm on 18th october and there wasn’t even a single “responsible” person who could handle my queries, You feel like a joker when you sit inside that place.
10. Nokia L1 support is a bunch of people who is ready to say a big “NO” on to your face.
11. When the Support people called Nokia care, Nokia care alleppey promised a 3G phone for me as spare, after the call that promise was broken and they intimate me that there is no 3G phone as spare for me.

I was a strong advocate of Nokia from 2002. Not any more. I won’t be buying a Nokia device from now on, won’t be recommending a Nokia device to my friends, peers or any one I know. When ever I get a chance, I will speak against buying a Nokia device.

When you are not cared, why should you care them..

Now i feel like “Disconnected”, and from now on Nokia means “Disconnecting People” for me.

 

Update: at last I contacted the kerala Sales head, who in turn redirected me to the service head. Now I’ve received a replacement handset..

 

 

Apple Iphone 4 launch in India

Almost all the mobile manufacturers like Nokia, Samsung, LG, HTC sell their latest mobile Phones in India. But not apple.
In an article in CIOL regarding the step mother attitude of apple, Mr. Kumar have tried to find a reason behind this attitude. So why do you think A techno savvy country like India are not offered fresh products from apple stable?

Ps. A word to Apple: You are missing a major chunk of business here in India by letting the competitors walk with head held high :) Who is the loser?
